Join The Go Portland Go! Coalition

By joining, you’re part of a coalition working to make Portland the model of progressive governance again.

We believe extreme ideology and performative politics don’t lead to anything getting done. It’s time for a new approach — all the energy and passion of the fringes, channeled into a movement of competency, creativity, collaboration, and common sense moderation.

We back coalition-builders, not culture warriors — leaders who pair justice and compassion with effective governance, public safety, and economic opportunity. We reject the premise that Portland must choose between its values and results.

Why Are Portland’s Small Businesses and Community Leaders Joining the Go Portland Go! Coalition?

  • “Taking care of people — whether it's our team and our guests — sometimes means making hard practical choices that will allow us to keep taking care of them. Portland needs leaders willing to do the same: make tough decisions that deliver real results, not just good optics. That is why we support Go Portland Go's vision to do that.”

    Andrew Fortgang
    Le Pigeon, Canard, Flor Wines

  • “Big problems like homelessness demand results-oriented leaders who can work together — across government, business, and community. Go Portland Go! is about electing exactly that kind of leadership — people who pair compassion with accountability and get real results. That's what Portland deserves.”

    Lance Orton
    Executive Director, City Team Portland

  • “We moved to Portland to open Kachka because this city embraced bold ideas and welcomed "weird". But our leaders are increasingly out of step with the qualities that make Portland such an extraordinary place to live, create, and build a business. I support Go Portland Go! because we need leaders who share our progressive values, but who are also willing to problem solve and deliver real results so people from every walk of life can thrive.”

    Bonnie Morales
    Kachka

Our growing coalition includes neighborhood associations, small businesses, faith-based organizations, housing and homelessness organizations, arts and culture, families and youth and more.
